Beautiful and untouched sea front views. Highly reconmended. Cons: Nothing. The lodge is in the most stunning location, at the edge of the jungle and overlooking the dramatic Pacific coastline. Sunset, whale watching with Ganga the Labrador, and a wonderful host in Claudia were our highlights. The lodge is very airy and was cool at night no fans or air con needed! It is definitely rustic rather than luxury - but still very clean, comfortable and a relaxing place to be. The food was good, the gardens were beautiful and the walks on the beach were stunning.
We had a truly unforgettable stay! It is not only about the incredible and outstanding location spectacular view in between two bays and right at the edge of the jungle , it is even more about the people there. If you treat this place with respect Natalie the owner and Ernst make you feel home and very welcomed. For us.. Show respect and recieve an insight of paradise! It's a beautiful place hidden up on a jungle hill side with views of the sea. There are no walls and everything is open to the elements but you are totally protected.
The food is amazing and plentiful. The ceviche is fresh and delicious. The host, Natalie, is an incredible woman who knows how to fill your days with the right mix of relaxation and exploration of the local wonders. So many hammocks. I loved the outdoor shower. The beach is a few minutes walk down the steps and at the time of year for our stay Jan there was sand. This isn't always the case apparently.
