Prague is not a very "social" country I agree with Ivana!! In case that you get into trouble, the police in Netherlands will be a lot more relaxed. Most officers in Prague will talk to you in their language, in Amsterdam they will speak english. Making a party is a lot better in Amsterdam, it is more expensive maybe, but not a lot and when you come to the wrong place in Prague it will be much more expensive than A'dam!!
Amsterdam really didnt do it for me to be honest. There is only so much weed you can smoke, and prostitutes you can look at. And yes I did go out into the country side, but still In Prague, when you have a party in any place in the centre, the prostitutes are everywhere and quite tricky, it will be hard to tell if you talk to an ordinary bar-guest or a professional.
Prague definitely! I disagree with the poster that said that Amsterdam is not much more expensive than Prague. I just lived in Prague for 6 months and visited Amsterdam several times and there is no comparison, Prague is a much better value. The Czechs are also quite friendly, especially if you go outside the center.
The girls are awesome and the reason I go back. I don't know about the prostitutes but the ones on the streets are just thieves trying to get in your pockets. You can have a go with the girls in the strip clubs but it is not regulated so Amsterdam would be a better bet if that's your thing. But why bother when there are so many beautiful real Czech girls in the pubs? Very little English is spoken by the Czech policie but I have never had a problem with them even though I was living a pretty crazy life over there.
Amsterdam is good for about one night for me and I prefer a 3-hour layover at the airport so I could take the metro into the center and get baked before getting on the next plane. This is a close call! PRAGUE for sure, much more safer, much more relaxed, Amsterdam has agressive homeless dealers on the street wich are going to be offended if you dont want to buy something. Many times people get hurt for nothing.
