Yes there are loads of hills ands steps but I have walking difficulties so I take everything nice and slowly though I am out of breath when I reach the top of the steps but thats good exercise. I had to share a room for the first time for 3 as the single supplement was too high and I was very disappointed with the facilities for the 3rd person. The bed a settee which very hard and uncomfortable was placed in an alcove which used to be a balcony and was section off by a curtain.
Unfortunately there was no light and the only curtains at the windows were nets which allowed all the light in at sun-rise so woke me up. Our room was also only the pathway that was used by the truck that delivered and collected luggage from guests and this was at regular times thru the night and their lights blazed in thru my window and woke me.
This can be easily remedied by putting up proper curtains that will block out light. The rooms are fine for 2 people but not 3 unless a child. The food standard has gone down a little since our first visit-not hot enough This is my 4th time so you can see I like it. The staff are wonderful if you take the time to talk to them particulary the bar staff. We spent most of our evenings in the reception bar and Ramadaz was great. He had to put up with so much rudeness from the Russians, how he kept his cool I will never know. I have read comments about the towels on sun-beds. You need to be as pushy and rude as these ignorant guests.
If towels were there for more than 2 hours and we wanted the beds we did what they did and moved them. We found these people were mostly Russians some Turkish and they liked to followed the sun so they tried to reserve 2 positions.
