A Jersey City mother abducted her daughter she did not have custody in a stolen vehicle last week before eventually being caught in Lodi, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced. Jahlea Jones, 28, of Jersey City, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, receiving of stolen property, interfering with custody, contempt, and theft by unlawful means of conveyance, Musella said in a statement.
She was located with the child in Lodi and she was found to be operating a vehicle that had been previously reported stolen.
