There are some clubs at night. We noticed quite a bit of prostitution in downtown Asuncion at night during our last visit. Something to be aware of and avoid. See all of the government buildings downtown, especially if you have kept up with any of the history.
Yes, you can get excellent meat still in Paraguay. It mostly comes from Argentina , however. Just find a Churrasqueria Brazilian steakhouse and you will enjoy many different cuts of meat. One of my favorites was Acuarela, although I don't remember what street it is on. Please give me your email also, mine is gg9 hotmail.
