THE worst massage ever and for that price, i'm willing to drop a review here. Oil used was good Worst massage I have ever had. This place is the definition of "tourist trap. I went in this massage center randomly. First of all, it was expensive so I had to bargain, and when we came to an agreement the host tried to keep some of the change. Then came the massage, which was honestly awful.
I asked the masseuse to put some more pressure, but she didn't changed anything. She was just pouring oil and nothing else. Worst part came when she asked me if I was interested in a happy ending. After I declined, she told me the massage was finish and shorter than it was supposed to be, by the way , and even asked for a tip. Basically, I had an expensive bath of oil. I definitely do not recommend this place.
I don't know why this place has had such negative reviews, me and my wife had an amazing massage experience here. For starters, a Sri Lankan massage is meant to be oily so be prepared for that.
Personally I don't like oil massages. The good thing for me was that the centre uses some very good oils, they also have a steam bath, shower facilities and clean towels so you can scrub the oil off after : I went for the 70min steam bath massage and my wife went for the 70 min full body with face scrub treatment. My wife wanted more privacy and the centre arranged a private room for her treatment. The massage was of a good quality and I was able to communicate with the masseuse well enough in English to tell them what I liked and did not like - I.
We will be coming back for sure! Oil used was good, but the masseuse were terrible people asking for tips when they are not even doing a good job at all. Very unprofessional and our session ended 15 mins earlier than said. Oil from Shirodhara session was dripping all over when we went back. It was terrible and horrible experience. Please go somewhere else, or none at all No privacy, loud noises, and unprofessionalism of staff.
