Besides Sandals Grande St. Lucian , what adult all-incl is recommended for a honeymoon for a couple in their late 30's? All are in our price range and we haven't been to St.
I liked all of them. Sandals is the master of marketing so don't go with extremely high expectations but I think they fill a niche and we have always enjoyed our time at them with the exception of the one we went to in Jamaica. The Grande has a calmer beach than the other 2 and is more busy overall. It's also walking distance to Pigeon Point and Gros Islet a longer walk. We walked from Pigeon Point to Rodney Bay and that's an even longer walk.
La Toc has more restaurants, is a lot more spread out, has the golf course and is probably my favorite overall. Sandals Halcyon is quaint, quiet, relaxing, has the best staff and probably the best food overall. We really like the Paradise Pool as you can laze the day away, read a book or go to the swimup bar.
The local bus stop is right outside of the resort so it's cheap, safe and easy to go to Rodney Bay or Castries. Almond Morgan Bay is not adults only so there will be children wandering about. It's a nice place with nice rooms, decent food, some surly staff at least we encountered some and a very small beach. We liked it and would return but not for more than 3 nights at a time. Body Holiday includes spa treatments and is mostly adults I think kids must be 12 or over and are rarely there but I have not visited nor stayed.
Coconut Bay was a Club Med prior so I would imagine that the rooms are probably fairly stark and not up-to-date plus there are a lot of kids there. I have not been to this property. Can't comment on the beach at Body Holiday but I think it's open water like the other 2 you were asking about since it's even further North but it may be in a somewhat protected cove. Hopefully someone else will answer.
