Does anyone have any good reccomendations for Takeo for a place to stay? Clean and a hot shower if possible. Also is it possible to rent a scooter or bike there? I passed through, but didn't stop, about 6 months ago, there were 2 hotels or guest houses if you like.
I have stayed at one on a previous trip. The one near the market on the right as you head into town. There may be more places to stay, I didn't look too hard. The one I stayed at a few tears back had awful food, but there were some decent bars around at night. There is also a brothel just out of town where you can stay apparently. I have checked it out honest but was told by a local.
Cycling information for Southeast Asia. There are a couple of big looking guesthouses there but never heard of a westerner staying there before. Can you tell us why you want to stop in Takeo I'm just curios, that's all.
