Our journey started 7. First we made some shopping on local market. I have to add that it was also my first market visit in Xiantao. Market visit in Xiantao After we bought some food for the family, it was time to hit the road! You might think that biking around 8 or 9am is cool but oh no.. I was sweating the whole time, drank a lot of water and added few more layers of sunscreen to my white skin.
It was a great feeling to bike and leave the city and houses behind us. Lucy with her fancy sunglasses and lollipop. Almost there and almost sunburned! Finally in the village! Besides that we heard music and saw a stage where somebody was singing. I was surprised because it was only around 9. Lucy explained that her neighbors are celebrating that their son or daughter got into the university. Local people were either sitting in the shadow and listening to the music or playing cards for the money.
Besides that there were some old ladies who had a huge bag full on hairnets. They were making hairnets small enough to fit those in small plastic bags and then added the sticker to the bag.
How is it even possible?! I knew life is unfair but this really opened my eyes even more. She with her aunt. Those looked small and a bit green so I never thought that these could taste well. I was about to bite the peach when Lucy told me that I have to peel the peach. That was another funny story.
I think it took me around 10minutes but once I tasted the peach I was in heaven! He brought us some nice peaches. Locals playing cards in the morning Local village party with singers, stage and fireworks.
