Copenhagen, the city from where Queen Magretha II rules her kindgom, the Kingdom that has a little mermaid sitting on a rock permanately, whom in fact has been decapitated three times. And we believe just as Denmark has once influenced the world before, it will also be a part of shaping the mindset of Europe back onto Christ. The work happening in the city is a part of influencing Copenhagen, Denmark and Europe back into the likeness of Christ. When I was finished chatting with the girls they were pumped up to get going out and see the people living in Copenhagen meet Christ.
They flew out early Sunday Morning the 25, and will be residing in the city for the next three coming months. When chatting with them they said. Brilliant idea if I say so myself. They talked back and forth of how they could meet the individual and how to connect with them. Throwing ideas around such as, coffee courses, sports club, working with homeless or with woman stuck in prostitution. I cannot help but come up with the conclusion that these girls love Jesus, and love his people. And the people they are about to meet will encounter Jesus and his love, and will be set free.
It is apart of the what Jesus has commanded us to do to go out and bring the good news, and a part of bringing that good news results in seeing the captives set free. Danes are going to be set free and Gods church will multiply.
The School of Evangelism students are currently on outreach in Europe. Here is the first update from our team in Copenhagen. Emilia and I have been planning our schedules and getting to know the city. We have also been going to lots of different events and meeting many new people, including Salsa classes and jazz nights.
