We stayed at the Rose "hotel" in Hai phong there was a price list for taking the rooms by the hour next to the bed as the hotel is used for prostitutes and there clients we booked trough bookings. I went down stairs after I recovered from the shock of the room and requested our passports back so we could leave but he was adamant he had a nicer room if I would just look at it, I followed him to another room which at first glance looked ok but in reality it was just a little cleaner.
After piecing everything together we realised we were in some kind of red light area that this hotel was very much part of.
